For over 20 years, I've had the privilege of helping individuals recognize their emotional needs and develop the skills to achieve wellness. I’m a psychologist who is EMDR Certified, a Grief educator, a Pet loss specialist, and a Life Coach. My clinical/consulting experiences include medical/community /residential mental health centers, religious organizations, and law enforcement/governmental agencies—my international consulting includes a medical center in Peru.
I have been in private practice for over 20 years. I've served as the director of the Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education (2010-2011). I have happily served as an adjunct faculty member at Lewis and DePaul universities. I am a lifelong resident of Chicago, Illinois. I am fluent in Spanish.
