Effective therapy can help you gain clarity, an increased sense of inner calm and discover and embrace your authentic self. Because each individual is unique, sessions are customized to meet your specific treatment needs. My approach emphasizes attuned listening, reflective feedback, collaborative insight and an exploration of underlying emotions and processes. In addition we may highlight your personal strengths and interests, in order to promote a fulfilling pathway ahead. Sessions take place once or more per week, depending on individual needs.
Drawing from a range of Relational Psychoanalytic and strengths-based modalities, I most often work with individuals who are experiencing: depression, anxiety, life transitions, past trauma, dating, marriage, mid-life, family, work or career issues. My versatile approach also suits those who are interested in personal growth & self discovery.
I pursued my masters in Social Work at NYU, and post-graduate study certifications in Advanced Clinical Practice from NYU and the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Studies. Most recently I received certification in Specialized Clinical Topics from the William Alanson White Institute, and value on-going education to enrich the therapy experience.
