I have 30 years of experience working with individuals and couples. I like to tailor the therapy to the individual or couple, and welcome feedback about what's helping and what's not helping. For therapy to be successful, the client must feel heard and understood. Together we explore where the person is stuck and wants to make changes. We look at patterns in one's life, what is reinforcing the "stuckness" and how to make change more possible. It takes courage to embark on therapy but it's a challenge worth taking!
My specialties are working with those struggling with addiction, issues related to food and body image, sex therapy and supervision. I will be starting a group for therapists who treat patients with addiction and a group for new therapists. I am working in person as well as virtually.
