I have 40 years of international experience working with children and families. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. Along with being a member of Georgia Association for Play Therapy. Play Therapy allows children to use the play as their language the toys as their words.
Play therapy and sand tray are used for all ages to assist in increasing emotional health. Play therapy reduces the anxiety and the difficulty of figuring out how to put into words what is going on internally. Sandtray therapy is a technique using miniatures and objects to build scenes.
