First, I honor your inquiry into the healing process! Welcome! I have a private practice specializing in trauma and welcome a variety of issues as specified under the "issues" heading. Along with formal education, I have 20 years of experiential learning and growth with professional colleagues and with the experts in the field, the people who have survived events all across the broad spectrum of "trauma" at some time in life. I see people holistically, recognizing the needs of body, mind, and spirit as the key to wellness. I welcome inquiries and consults without obligation--the "fit" is important.
I studied and trained extensively in the field of holistic healing and mind body methods. I view life and healing from a wellness prospective taking an integrative approach to difficult situations without ruling out the importance of medical practices. Theoretically my orientation is eclectic and grounded in cognitive behavioral techniques.
Underlying therapeutic issues, I listen for the growth potential of the True Self through maturation, Self knowledge, and Self acceptance. I stay alert to deficits in development and provide skills training to meet those needs. Clients are invited to embrace empowerment through the awareness of choice to live life honestly.
