Life has changed beyond expectations. Many of our careers, educational life and values have become unsettled. I am a good fit for highly sensitive people, who amidst this change, are in a life transition such as college disruption, trauma, relationship problems and work issues. The pervasive stress, resulting in depression, confusion, anxiety, OCD, addiction and disruption, will be met with deep listening, reflection and compassion. For those whose minds have been effected by psychedelic drugs, marijuana, childhood trauma or bipolar tendencies, we will work together to create clear, practical strategies for health/recovery.
I use many tools, including cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, relational communication, positive thinking, spirituality and specialized trauma approaches (EMDR). I am a Clinical Member of the AAMFT and EMDR trauma clinician (Level 2). I also offer consultation services for businesses, organizations, corporations. I see thru the lenses of several layers.
I am open-minded, nonjudgmental and responsive to the special concerns of both men and women. Specially trained in gender work, relaxed, gentile and very easy to talk with . I will be direct with you and give you effective skills in a caring way. I've been a therapist for over 30 years with individuals, couples and families.
