Michael J Fallahay

Marriage & Family Therapist , MS , LMHC

(317) 884-8122
Trained as a marital and family therapist, since 1989 I have counseled individuals, couples, and families both in central Indiana and in the Caribbean in St. Kitts and Nevis, and in Guyana, South America. I am especially skilled at working with clients on issues of grief, domestic violence, sexual abuse, depression, suicide, anger, divorce, and men's issues. As a firm believer in people's ability to heal and change, I also enjoy working with couples to heal from past wounds, to improve their communication and closeness, to resolve differences, and to become more effective and loving partners and parents.
With specialized training, I am listed on Star Behavioral Health's registry of trained counselors to work with military and veterans. I have led men's domestic violence treatment groups for 17+ years at Families First. For ethical reasons I do not counsel couples actively engaged in domestic violence.
I integrate my faith and experiences as a son, brother, husband, parent, stepparent, grandfather, elder in the ManKind Project, and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer into my counseling. I believe both in the unity and equality of all persons and in each person becoming whole and on her/his individual journey.
