Welcome to Sentience. Sentience is the ability to feel, perceive, and have self-awareness through emotional experiences. Having the full capacity to feel and perceive both the rewarding and challenging sensations of life in a balanced way, supports psychological health. The goal of Sentience is to provide conscientious psychological services for people presenting with emotional or behavioral challenges in their lives. We provide comprehensive services including therapy, evaluation, consultation, teaching/lecture, and expert testimony.
Our team of male and female therapists are available for in person or telehealth appointments. Some accept insurance. We currently have openings for Aetna, BCBS, Triwest, and Cigna clients. We also have therapists that provide counseling services in long term care facilities for the ALTCS population.
We can provide comprehensive psychological evaluations in addition to therapy services. A psychological evaluation can identify emotional/behavioral impairments and also highlight psychological/cognitive strengths.
