People seek counseling for many different reasons- to help treat depression, anxiety, adjustment, & relationship issues; to cope with life's challenges- ie.) grief, crisis, job related or family stress; or simply to improve their lives, gain greater stability & emotional well being. My ideal client is one who has made the first & often hardest step-acknowledging they are needing support to work on their current issues. My passion & niche is working with adult women and Moms, of all ages and stages. I primarily offer daytime appointments with limited evening & Saturday availability, to best support my own family & client needs.
Sara Goguen provides a non-judgmental & genuine approach in listening to concerns & assessing needs. Sara's goal is to help others achieve a sense of inner peace by providing the opportunity & tools needed to learn & grow in the process. Special interests include supporting women dealing with anxiety and adjustment issues including prenatal and postpartum.
Sara is passionate about working with women who find themselves experiencing difficulty managing anxiety, family or work stress, grief, ADD/ADHD, prenatal/postpartum adjustment, parenting or career goals. Sara strives to help women achieve better balance in their lives, by providing them with the support, coping tools and any other resources needed to do so.

G.irls I.n R.eal L.ife S.ituations Empowered! is a group designed to give 4th-8th grade girls an opportunity to feel empowered by: gaining self-awareness, developing positive communication & healthy coping tools, improving problem-solving skills, & feeling connected to other girls. Join Sara C. Goguen, LCSW for an insightful & fun-filled opportunity for girls to have a safe place to share & work through common issues, while also enhancing their social & emotional development. Group would meet Mon-Fri for one week during the summer or once a week for 12 weeks during the school year. Dates/Times TBD based on interest.
