Hello and welcome! I specialize in helping millennials with anxiety who have tried therapy before with minimal success. We might be a good fit if you struggle to prioritize your needs, and feel there are parts of yourself that you need to hide, You may try to only share the parts of yourself you are sure others will like or appreciate. You may expect perfection from yourself and your inner critic is never satisfied, leaving you feeling anxious. This way of living, ignoring your own needs and sacrificing your well-being, is taking its toll, interfering with your psychological health, your relationships, and your enjoyment of life.
It can feel difficult to know where to start. Through depth-oriented, psychodynamic therapy, I will support you to increase your self-confidence and self-awareness, set healthier boundaries, increase resilience, develop your capacity to process and regulate emotions, form deeper connections in your relationships, and live a fulfilling life with intention.
Psychological and emotional symptoms and difficulties are complex and we will work to not only ease your distress, but also gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and of what underlies your symptoms, thereby freeing you up to make lasting changes.
