Dr. David Sandrow is Co-Director of Miami Counseling & Resource Center and a native to Miami. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He provides both psychological testing and counseling to children, adolescents and adults. Some of his specific areas of counseling expertise include depression, anxiety and phobias, attention deficits (ADHD or ADD), learning difficulties, and stress management. He has been trained in various relaxation interventions including meditation, guided-imagery, and autogenics, and uses both western and eastern-guided philosophies in counseling.
Dr. Sandrow also provides psychological evaluations and testing for learning disabilities, ADHD or ADD, behavioral problems, and IQ or gifted placement. He works with both children and adolescents to help guide them in their academic careers and provides to the parents and teachers the appropriate recommendations, diagnoses, and accommodations.
