People frequently arrive at my office after trying out many good ideas, but have found that these changes did not reach something deeper inside that seems to get in the way.
They are people who know what to do, but in the "heat of the moment" all of the good ideas "go out the window" and an emotional reaction that sabotages the potential for success often intervenes. I find it is important to help people uncover what is right with them, not focus only upon problems.
