Rita Messer

Clinical Social Work/Therapist

(614) 702-2603
I believe that true fulfillment in life is found only through understanding and accepting oneself. The first step is identifying thinking patterns that hold you back from being who you want to be and having the relationships you desire. I work with adults, couples, and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, mood and communication challenges.
I use a collaborative process focused on identifying the automatic thoughts and stories we tell ourselves that limit our potential, and teach skills that you can use on your own. I have extensive experience with single parents facing parenting challenges. My primary approach with adolescents is to involve the family.
I see clients in Columbus and Gahanna, and will counsel couples who are non-monogamous.
