As a licensed psychologist I have over 25 years working with couples, families, children, adolescents and individuals. I specialize in anxiety disorders, depression and trauma. I furthermore have extensive experience working with chronic illnesses including MS, Lupus, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, COPD, diabetes and Lyme disease. I love working with couples, with complex issues. I value working with DEI concerns for BIPOC people. My work is client centered with a focus on the client's strengths and competencies in the world. My approach is creative and intuitive, with a strong foundation in scientific theory.
My approach is holistic in nature, working effectively with body workers, alternative practitioners, psychiatrists and professionals in other disciplines. My expertise encompasses working with clients with chronic illnesses. When appropriate I utilize mindfulness approaches to provide management of symptoms. I furthermore, have expertise in hypnosis, EMDR and somatic experience modalities.
