Each client comes with unique struggles and with unique hopes and longings in the search for meaning, relatedness, healing, creativity, and growth. We all have a life to live. When that life is stymied - by inside forces or outside events - you might feel stuck or lonely, experience anxiety, depression, anger, grief, chronic pain, or restlessness. You might also struggle with life changes, illness, stale relationship patterns, addictions or spiritual issues. My aim is to get to know you well and help you develop a conscious, vital relationship with the powerful forces that seek life and growth and with those that get in your way.
My work is influenced by Jungian depth psychology. This perspective seeks to discover unknown or forgotten parts of the self that can serve as powerful resources for healing and growth. Mindful attention to dreams, body-awareness, and imagination help us to locate sources of suffering and to listen to what inside might want to be found and more fully lived.
My style is interactive, my aim to welcome whatever you might bring to our work together. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, people diverse in gender, culture, socio-economic background, and beliefs. Therapy can be short-term or longer depending on individual needs. I look forward to being part of your path toward health, integration, and aliveness.
