Emotional healing occurs most readily in the context of a safe relationship that is simultaneously supportive, responsive and empathic, but that also challenges you to venture outside of your comfort zone. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, partnering with you in your individuality to help you reconnect with your own inner strength and wisdom. I can help you to make connections between your past experiences and present circumstances in order to better understand yourself, enabling you to make changes that translate into a more vibrant and fulfilling life.
I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, at-risk youth, parenting challenges, grief, loss, relationship issues and attachment difficulties. I also have significant experience working cross culturally, including with people of color and people who are gender non-conforming and make room to explore important aspects of identity and difference.
As every individual is unique, I tailor my approach to match the needs of each person that sees me for therapy. Another key to successful therapy is finding a good fit. If you'd like to get a sense of me and my work, I invite you to contact me.
