Since 1996 I have worked both privately and in hospitals with individuals, couples, and families facing issues of substance use, intimate partner violence, end of life issues, sexual orientation, and HIV/AIDS. Specifically, I have worked extensively with minorities (ethnic, racial, and sexual) regarding sexism, classism, racism, and homophobia.
As an openly Black gay man I am fully aware of the multi layers of oppression confronting many segments of the population. Therefore, I continually strive to increase my competency in cultures and background different from my own. I am committed to providing treatment to all sorts and conditions of humanity.
