With 25 years in practice, I treat a broad spectrum of problems across the life span. Utilizing a developmental perspective and extensive training (Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Hypnotherapy), I customize treatment to your needs, in a warm and judgment free atmosphere supportive of personal growth. I am interested in how feelings, thoughts and behaviors intersect, or form patterns that play a role in distress and adaptation. My work with children and adolescents aims to improve self-awareness and self control, communication and problem solving. I help parents set effective limits and enhance family relations. I conduct assessments for ADHD from a developmental and behavioral perspective and provide psychotherapy to manage its symptoms and associated stress. I consult with schools and physicians.
Mindfulness, DBT and hypnotherapy opened exciting avenues for leading a more balanced life. I incorporate these strategies for stress reduction, mood and anger management and control of ADHD symptoms.
