With the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and the incorporation of Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, we will examine how to overcome both internal and external obstacles to reach your goals by understanding the past and working toward a healthy future.
In addition to providing individual therapy, I am trained to address the needs of parents whose kids have experienced trauma as a result of adoption or foster care. Through psychoeducation, coaching, and evidence-based approaches, I help parents identify and reduce the symptoms of trauma in their child, while developing healthy attachment and attunement.
