I believe that sometimes a person doesn't know for sure what is causing their unhappiness. With my training as both a clinical social worker and a psychoanalyst I can help you to understand the sources of your problems. Then, as a result of new, meaningful, emotional and intellectual understandings, we can work together to find ways to solve the difficulties you are having. The more you understand things about yourself that you hadn't quite realized, the more helpful it is to see how you can make changes to have a more fulfilling life.
I work with people who have problems with intimate relationships and with actualizing one's self so that it's hard to be all you can be. We work together, to uncover and discover what's going on that has led to conflicts, indecision, holding back, and self sabotage.
I have experience with people who have been in therapy before and want to return to therapy to go further in life. I also work with people who find themselves in transitions in their lives, such as a change in location, career, or in a relationship.
