Laura provides individual, marital, and family therapy for a wide variety of both clinical and non-clinical issues. Areas of special interest include marital conflict, mood disturbances (anxiety and depression), emotional abuse, divorce and stepfamily issues, low self-esteem and boundary problems, trauma recovery, relationship skills, neuropsychology, and faith-based counseling (if requested).
I am trained as both a professional counselor and a marriage and family therapist, so although I deal with a wide variety of issues, my focus is on how those issues affect and are affected by the important relationships in a person's life.

The key to learning to respect ourselves, build healthy relationships, and make necessary changes in our lives is to identify distorted, unhealthy thoughts and the unmet emotional needs that drive those thoughts.
