Dr. Jefferies is only accepting clients ages 5-22 with the the following issues: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety, Panic attacks, Selective Mutism, Phobias, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (trichotillomania, skin-picking). I have completed specialized instruction in using Exposure and Ritual Prevention (ExRP) in psychotherapy, including training at IOCDF's Behavior Training Institute
I believe strongly in working with parents and children together, not being the black hole that your child goes into for an hour per week. Families learn skills alongside their child to help them practice at home and facilitate faster results.
I use Exposure and Ritual Prevention, CBT, Habit Reversal Training (HRT) and exposure therapy for treating these conditions. CBT and Exposure Therapy are considered best practices for working with OCD, Anxiety, and Phobias.

Emerging Adult OCD Support Group
This virtual group is for high school aged individuals with OCD who are currently in treatment or have had treatment for their OCD. Purpose of the group is for teens to support each other, set goals, discuss challenges and provide a community of people who get it. The group is led by Dr. Jefferies. This group is currently free. Interested persons must contact Dr. Jefferies for screening for fit in the group.
