Welcome! And congratulations on taking the first step toward feeling better. It is not uncommon for people to feel scared about setting up a counseling appointment. My nonjudgmental and supportive style can create a safe atmosphere. My focus is on a strength-based approach, empowering clients to utilize their unique strengths to overcome challenges. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating.
I completed my clinical training at Northwestern University (Predoctoral Internship) and UCSD (Postdoctoral Fellowship). I graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the PGSP-Stanford Consortium in Palo Alto, CA. In addition to psychotherapy, I have offered workshops on anxiety management, peak performance, and biofeedback to students at UCSD and Northwestern.
I was trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy at Stanford University and have incorporated other approaches to meet the needs of the individual client.
