Issues rooted in childhood or present trauma and attachment (the relationships with caregivers from childhood through young adulthood) are often the source of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating disorders and addictions, and complex post-truamatic stress disorders even when such a connection is not immediately recognized.
EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems) offer effective and often rapid relief from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, distressing memories, nightmares, etc. as a result of unmet developmental or attachment needs or other traumatic events. IFS Therapy offers relief from virtually any substance and/or behavioral addiction.
