Life today can easily get complicated and stressful causing us to feel overwhelmed. I approach our work together as a partnership between client and therapist. In over 25 years of experience I've learned that in a comfortable and supportive environment a person can achieve insight and experience breakthroughs that can help identify solutions and overcome obstacles in order to move toward a happier and more satisfying life. My ideal client is someone who is ready to take the risk to fully embrace their strengths and their vulnerabilities in order to live a meaningful life.
My training in family therapy and teaching background in family studies allows me to help clients recognize how their experiences and history affect their current relationships and behaviors. My experiences as a clinician, an educator and a yoga teacher enable me to provide a holistic approach to enhance a client's mind, body and spirit.
I utilize a variety of treatment modalities in order to meet a client's needs. Together we will identify your strengths and establish solution-oriented and client-driven goals to live mindfully, manage life stressors, and/or cope with any of the following: anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, grief and loss or relationship problems.
