My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space for you and your family to be able to express and explore your feelings. By gaining a better understanding of your emotional responses to stress, you can build coping skills in order to manage challenging life situations. I want to to help facilitate the changes that you are looking to make in your life. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families who are addressing a range of problems and life events, including anxiety, depression, divorce, trauma, school anxiety and adjustment issues.
I have been working with children, adolescents and families for more than 17 years. In addition, I have also worked with adult and children survivors and witnesses of abuse and trauma. It is truly an honor to work with families who trust and allow me to be a part of their lives.
I know that beginning therapy can be anxiety provoking. During our initial session, we will collaborate to identify the aspects in your life that have led you to therapy, begin the development of a therapeutic relationship, and develop goals for change. I look forward to hearing from you and welcome any questions you may have.
