I believe there is power in learning to balance our lives emotionally and spiritually. I have 20-plus years as a counselor, and have been able to help clients find emotional and general life balance. I draw from primary treatment modalities of Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution Focussed, Psychodynamic and Existential Theories. Ideally, at the conclusion of counseling, a client will be able to actively deal with their internal states in a way that allows them to feel more at peace with increased self esteem, and well being.
Specializing in helping clients to find balance with depression, anxiety and issues related to anger, I try to assist a client with cognitvely restructuring thoughts and feelings that may be causing exaggerated emotional response, and gain insight into emotional and physical experience, to find emotional balance, peace, increased self esteeem.
