Dr. Hirsch specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy to help people live more meaningful lives. Her previous roles include working as a senior psychologist at the Mount Sinai Traumatic Stress Studies Program followed by becoming the Clinical Director of Mount Sinai's Eating and Weight Disorders program, and then in 2010 spent her time developing the Mount Sinai Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders Program, where she was the Clinical Director from 2010-2015.
She maintains a private practice while continuing to teach and supervise psychiatry trainees in empirically supported therapies. Her areas of expertise are in anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, BDD, eating disorders, trichitillomania, hypochondriasis, and relationship issues.
Dr Hirsch uses cutting edge and evidence based interventions to provide comprehensive care to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her mission is to provide care that helps one heal, grow, and thrive. In honor of her compassion and skill as a clinician, Dr. Hirsch received the Gold Doc award from the Arnold P. Gold Foundation.
