My passion is using a combination of psychoeducational, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness coaching, and psychodynamic therapy to help adults and adolescents discover their path to improved mental health. I have 15+ years of experience working with addictions, anxiety, OCD, and trauma. My specialties are OCD and substance or behavioral addictions (compulsions). As a person in recovery from addictions and OCD, I have particular compassion and empathy for individuals struggling with these challenges.
Though I work with multiple issues, my primary area of expertise is working with addictions and OCD. I primarily utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness training, and exposure and response prevention (ERP) when treating clients.
As someone who has worked in the field of addiction and who has personal experience overcoming addiction and OCD in early adulthood, I have a particularly strong passion for helping people who struggle with these conditions. Nothing brings me more joy and satisfaction than watching my clients gain control over their mental health.
