About Us
The Child and Adolescent Clinic at Psychological HealthCare is comprised of psychologists, social workers and mental health counselors who are all trained in the treatment of mental health issues. Specific information about each clinician can be found by going to our website at phcny.com. Our psychologists also can provide comprehensive evaluations to address complex diagnostic and treatment questions. We offer many approaches to help families and children in need. All our clinicians offer care for a wide variety of mental health issues for children and adolescents including treatment for anxiety, mood disorders, and behavioral issues. We have social skills training including groups and individual treatment, as well as therapy to address anger management and parenting. The psychologists within our group also offer evaluations to look at specific questions including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Neuropsychological Testing, and general diagnostic clarification. We know that starting a therapeutic treatment is difficult, so we do everything possible to make the experience easier for you. We have five very nice and competent people who are available between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to walk you through the process of finding the best treatment provider for your particular situation. We have four offices located around the Central New York area in order to reduce driving time to and from appointments for people with busy schedules. Two of our offices are located in Syracuse- downtown and in the Eastwood area, one in Liverpool on 7th North Street,another in Baldwinsville near Radisson.
