Telehealth sessions with me offer you a safe, private, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings around medical, emotional and situational challenges in home, work, school, or social settings. Focusing on you, we develop a working partnership and create a plan to develop and work on your goals, improve your relationships with others, and increase your ability to manage stress and negative emotions more effectively.
Using psychodynamic, relational, cognitive, and analytic approaches, my tools include curiosity, patience, empathy, interpretation, and humor. We look at how your mind works, how you relate to others, and the things or people that give your life meaning and purpose. We examine how your previous choices are working for you, and explore possible alternatives.
I understand that finding a therapist who accepts private insurance or Medicare can be difficult, frustrating and time-consuming. I am licensed in Maryland and Washington, DC.
