Making changes in one’s life can be daunting without support. In practice in NYC/NJ for over twenty-five years, I help clients find solutions for issues including but not limited to coping and recovery from anxiety, addictions, depression, trauma, as well as conflicts in the workplace. I use a range of approaches: it may be solution-focused, psychodynamic, and/or Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment (CBT) depending upon your goals and needs. A career transition specialist, I use the MBTI to help clients create a plan of action to find a more satisfying career direction.
A former adjunct professor in the New School's Psychology Division, I taught courses in trauma recovery and entering social work. Certified in using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) I continue to lead workshops on using the MBTI for self actualization and career transition.
I work with individuals from varied sexual, racial, cultural, political, as well as religious backgrounds, with a primary goal of creating a judgment-free space. If new to therapy, I’ll answer any questions about the process. If I’m not in-network with your insurance (see list) I’m happy to assist in confirming your EAP or out-of-network benefits.
