I have worked with a wide variety of people over the years, and have come to recognize both the commonalities in what makes all of us human, but yet uniquely individual at the same time. These commonalities and differences can both sustain us and frustrate us as we seek meaningful engagement with life and others through work, relationships, and continued self-growth. Often people experience internal stress and anxiety as they feel the push and pull between loneliness on the one hand, and the inevitable mix of emotional challenges that can come with attachment with others.
I support those that wish to explore and possibly change the ways in which they show up for themselves and in relationship with others. I have an approach that is nonjudgmental without abandoning sound judgement, and compassionate without pity. I draw upon several theoretical traditions, including psychodynamic and existential/humanistic.
