I believe therapy can assist individuals in overcoming life's challenges. I have experience providing counseling to a diverse clientele including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I utilize an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy to tailor treatment based on the needs and goals of each client. I aim to empower my clients while facilitating growth and healing, encouraging self-acceptance, and promoting healthy relationships. Within the therapeutic relationship, I hold your confidentiality in high regard and provide a nonjudgmental and supportive environment.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I treat individuals with a history of trauma and can use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to release the emotional hold of past hurtful experiences. EMDR can be used to treat a multitude of challenges including PTSD, performance anxiety, phobias, grief and feelings of guilt and shame.
When working with clients, I am mindful and accepting of influences such as culture, religion, unique family systems, sexual orientation, and gender identity. I recognize each client's individuality and strive to provide an affirming environment. I also offer faith-sensitive counseling for those who desire to incorporate their faith into therapy.
