I am a psychotherapist (LCSW) who works with individuals, couples and families on a wide range of issues. I have extensive experience treating depression, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, divorce and parenting issues. From my work in hospitals and community mental health clinics, I also have a background in psychiatric diagnosis, and assessment of an individual client's need for psychiatric medications.
I utilize an integrative approach and strive to create a supportive and empathic environment in which clients can explore and tackle the difficulties they face. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is instrumental in the healing process, and can help a person develop self-awareness, achieve personal growth and improved functioning.
