In my practice, I provide services for adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transition challenges or trauma. In addition, I serve transgender and non-binary individuals. Another population I work with are those who experience sensory processing sensitivity also know as HSPs (Highly Sensitive People).
I utilize the Trauma Resiliency Model when working with clients who have experienced trauma in order to assist them in learning to calm and regulate their nervous systems and build resiliency. This model also helps clients create coping skills to reduce anxiety and depression symptoms and to help build resiliency in HSPs (highly sensitive people.)
