Hello! I am Dr. Ellen Adelman, a licensed clinical psychologist. Effective treatment means looking at issues of the whole person: Mind, Body and Spirit. I often see people with their families or partners to help understand and resolve relationship issues and to improve communication skills. In individual sessions, a process of gentle exploration helps us address anxiety, depression, anger, and issues of self-esteem. We will determine the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of the problems you face. Together we can identify the areas where you need help and develop strategies to deal with them in a safe and healing environment.

My specialty is the integration of Western and Buddhist Psychology into a therapeutic healing program: Mind Body Intelligence. Interested clients can learn to meditate and develop thier own spiritual path as they develop greater mental health and physical well-being.

MOVING THROUGH SADNESS and DEPRESSION: ASPIRING to a JOYFUL LIFE, for Graduates of Mind Body Intelligence Level 1 and experienced meditators. The Mind Body Intelligence training group is a workshop that teaches stress management and meditation by integrating Eastern and Western psychologies. We will continue to learn to deepen Meditation, Yoga and Qigong practices, and to develop ways of thinking that cause less stress and suffering.
