Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-awareness? Working with the strengths you already have and developing healthy coping skills as well as behavioral changes, I can help you find ways to improve your present situation. Many of us face challenges that require support. My goal in treatment is to help you identify ways to successfully manage. Together we can work towards becoming your best self. I believe in short-term therapy which establishes specific goals with clients and tracks successes regularly.
I have twenty eight years of experience and specialize in working with individuals, families, and adolescents. I also work with grief, bereavement, and chronic illnesses such as cancer. I work with grief over the loss of animals, understanding their loss significantly impacts individuals and families.
I am fluent in Spanish and English and am competent in Hispanic cultural needs. I incorporate Yoga and Qigong meditation as tools to assist with managing stress while remaining mindful about emotions, self-talk, and behaviors.

Women's issues
In our society, women seldom have a place to share/gain experience from other women. Women are the caretakers, home administrators, mother's, wives, and daughters who shoulder responsibilities for the whole community. Women need a place to relieve the stress and gain support from each other. Our group meets weekly to discuss women specific issues such as empty nest, raising families, body image, loneliness, sexuality, and ageing.
