My goal is to help people identify problem areas and the personal strengths that are available to begin to address those problems. I also focus on helping people improve communication and relationship skills as a part of problem-solving. I treat individuals and couples dealing with depression, anxiety, grief/loss issues, substance abuse, communication and relationship problems, women's issues, adjustment problems, parenting, spiritual issues.

I use both individual and couples therapy to help people develop problem-solving skills and change old destructive messages that hinder growth. I also use family systems therapy to help people understand and improve relationships.
