“Finding the right therapist for you is essential for treatment to be effective. I specialize in individual therapy and counseling (ages 16-60) for depression, anxiety, and grief and loss (esp. motherloss), was trained and educated at UCLA, and have practiced therapy for the past 18 years. I view the therapy process as a collaborative one. My approach is authentic, straightforward, down to earth, and nonjudgmental. Other issues/concerns addressed on a regular basis include: improving self-esteem, adjustment/ transition to college, assertiveness, communication skills, and stress management.

By utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Interpersonal therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy, my goal is to help alleviate troublesome symptoms, improve interpersonal relationships and resolve issues as quickly as feasibly possible, while being able to practice skills outside of the therapy session.
