
“Dr. Roberson provides outpatient psychological evaluation and therapy services for individuals and families within the Phoenix area. A wide variety of psychological problems are treated. Patients are carefully directed toward problem resolution, rational thinking, acquisition of new skills, improved living, and enhanced relationships. Educational and career decisions are also addressed. Dr. Roberson holds BS and MS Degrees in Education, and a PhD Degree in Educational Psychology from the Graduate School at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Training specialties in school psychology, counseling, and clinical practice bring practice specialties of consultation, testing, and counseling and psychotherapy.
Typical treatment involves an opening session to determine if Dr. Roberson can help, and to plan session frequency. Treatment for some conditions involve a team approach in which Dr. Roberson works with educators, pastors, physicians, or psychiatrists. Private pay is encouraged but some insurance is accepted.
Christian values and faith were important elements in the Roberson home during Dr. Roberson's childhood, and are key components in the way he lives today. Married since 1972, he and his family reside in Peoria, Arizona, where they are active in the community and attend Trinity Bible Church.”
