Are you feeling depressed? In a transition? Overwhelmed? Anxious? Not meeting your goals? Do you have unsatisfying relationships? Do you have questions and concerns about couple/marital problems? Is life in your family chaotic, unhappy, or distressing? Do you have difficulty communicating? Does it sometimes feel like things are spinning out of control? Are there things that you want in life that you haven't achieved? Are you looking for an Intensively Trained DBT therapist? If you want to change things for the better or are in pain, I am here for you.
My goals as a therapist are straightforward: to provide you with as full an understanding of your problems as possible and to inspire you to make effective use of this knowledge. I provide a safe, caring, confidential environment to talk about what's going on for you. I tailor my approach to what you need.
I teach coping skills to help you deal with many of the issues you are facing. I can help you explore the underlying reasons these issues are there in the first place. I believe that with help you can fulfill your potential. To get to know me further, read my book/memoir that can be found at https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Gold-Mary-Powell-PhD/dp/1729406653
