I focus on the client's, couple's or family's strengths and how those strengths can be used to move from problem to solution and on to transformation. This allows hope to emerge or strengthen and noticeable change to take root and grow.
I work in a consultative manner which means that you and I work together as a team, setting goals and determining when progress has been made. Homework or practice-changing behavior patterns in-between session is encouraged, continuing the momentum of what was discussed in session. This builds success and a strong sense of accomplishment.
