“I am a clinical psychologist in the Tysons Corner area, and I provide treatment with respect and warmth in a safe and supportive environment. My approach is interactive, hopeful, and compassionate. Some of my specialty areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns (including couples), and adolescent distress. I work in a collaborative and flexible manner. In addition, I help clients to gain greater insight into their behaviors, thought patterns, and emotional reactions. As insight develops, clients report an increased sense of control over their choices, increased feelings of self-esteem and, as a result, more rewarding relationships and fulfilling lives.

I use psychodynamic and cognitive approaches to help clients understand how their personal history along with current circumstances may be influencing their emotional lives, interpersonal relationships, and quality of life. I emphasize implementing new ways of interacting so that you may have more positive experiences in the 'here and now.'

I am committed to staying current on best practices for treating specific problem areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, parent/adolescent communication, and coping with difficult transitions. I am not an in-network provider for insurance carriers but will gladly assist you in seeking out of network reimbursement benefits.”
