I believe a problem is a solution waiting to be found. I have 25 years experience seeing adults, children, teenagers, couples, and families. I've worked as a Family Court Mediator, and director of Student Counseling, Loma Linda University. My focus areas: 1.)panic attacks/anxiety disorders 2.) depression 3.) eating disorders 4.) divorce recovery 5.) adults and children from abusive/ alcoholic childhoods 6.) Christian counseling 7.) relationship issues (marital, divorce). I help clients change negative thinking, raise their self-esteem, and learn to achieve their goals. I work with clients to understand their destructive behavior and poor choices and change them
Before making appointments, I talk to new clients by phone, so we can interact, determine what they want to work toward, and see if they feel comfortable talking to me. Therapy shouldn't be like going to the dentist! I am outgoing, humorous, direct, nonjudgmental, and supportive.
Depression, anxiety and emotional paralysis can cloud your ability to make healthy decisions and achieve a happier life. Getting professional help gives you a partner to help you resolve these issues. Most of my referrals come from satisfied clients and that is a true compliment.(Call, do not e-mail me.)
