Would you like to decrease feelings of anxiety or self-judgment? Are you hoping to deepen your connection with yourself or others? Do you experience loneliness or depression or do you want to get help with relationships, ongoing struggle or chronic illness? Many people feel unhappy in their lives for reasons they can't identify. They may have a vague sense that they are "missing out" or not living the life they want to live; others feel "stuck" in some uncomfortable pattern of behavior. Whatever brings you to therapy, I firmly believe in our capacity to heal, in our own innate wisdom and our ability to know greater peace and joy.
I have over 20 yrs experience working with anxiety/depression, eating disorders, gender/sexuality, illness, OCD, impulsivity, grief and communication. I am a certified clin. trauma prof, I will work with you to meet your individual needs, drawing on client-centered, mindfulness, gestalt, IFS, yoga/meditation, DBT, and CBT therapies. I am LGBTQI-affirming.
While it may feel difficult to make contact for the first time, I warmly invite you to contact me via email, phone or text; I look forward to hearing from you! Office is accessible by public transportation. *Please note that my Madison practice was closed on 11/7/15; I am honored to have worked with clients in Madison, WI for 15 yrs.
