Together, we can work on identifying the stresses and issues in your life. My approach is client-centered and psychodynamic while being gentle, caring and encouraging. I provide a safe, warm office atmosphere for you to explore what is making it difficult for you to be happy and to be yourself.
I enjoy talking with clients about their present dilemmas as well as revisiting old hurts that need to be healed.
I have graduate degrees in developmental psychology and social work, for a combined 20 years of practice with a wonderful variety of individuals, groups and families.
I agree with Marianne Williamson : "It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually who are you NOT to be?"
I believe in a holistic approach, suggesting a range of non-pharmaceutical methods of treatment where appropriate.
I hope to have the privilege of working with you.
