I am both a licensed psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist, highly experienced in individual talk therapy, couples therapy, cognitive as well as Eastern meditative approaches to anxiety, acceptance, life direction and transitions, depression, career satisfaction, adjustment, PTSD, divorce, adolescent and marital problems, and addiction disorders.
I am also expert in the psychology of awareness, a published author and artist of tarot, skilled in Jungian Sandplay and other intuitive techniques, as well as a teacher and life coach of Buddhist-based therapies and practices. The basis of this group is how thought creates a very small, personalized world and how WHAT we wish for and WHAT we wish to avoid (based on our conditioning) causes psychological suffering. When we identify thoughts as real and permanent we create pain, resist what is, and constantly evaluate who we are, who we like, who we don't like, what is fair, etc. The group supports the quieting of the mind, allowing lots of space for things to be just as they are. You are invited to share aspects of your life, ask any questions, or sit silently.
