My work is aimed not only on resolving your immediate symptoms, but in finding the path to a freer, richer and more rewarding life. I actively participate in helping you to define issues, focus on existing patterns of coping and develop new approaches which expand fulfillment. I listen at a deep level, guiding you toward self awareness and getting past the blind spots to what is important and essential. Whether you are struggling with a specific concern or looking to address a pervasive pattern in your life; I bring compassion, creativity, experience and energy to the task.
I practice ISTDP ( Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy), an acccelerated form of dynamic therapy. My style is highly engaged and focused on close moment to moment oberservation in session. Together we will determine the nature of your difficutlies and work collaboratively to address their roots.
I have particular interest and expertise in problems related to trauma and abuse, body- mind issues, dissociative disorders, adult survivors, grief and loss and personality or character disorders.
