“I work in a dynamic interpersonal, interactive, non-judgmental style. I believe that today's therapy client wants a therapist who not only listens, but also offers feedback. Patients want to feel a human connection with their therapist, someone with a commitment to help them on their journey of self discovery, which often entails looking at painful and troubling details of their lives. I believe that it's not that you "change" in therapy, but rather that you reveal and embrace your true self, celebrate your uniqueness, and become open to the infinite possibilities that your life has to offer.
Because I realize that many people who would like to enter Psychotherapy or Psychoanalysis hesitate to do so because their work schedules are not conducive to a specific fixed weekly appointment slot, I offer flexible appointment hours for busy professionals. I also offer my patients telephone sessions when necessary.
I completed my Graduate training at NYU. I am also a graduate of National Institute for the Psychotherapies [NIP];Having successfully completed their intensive four-year training Program, I have a Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychanalytic Psychotherapy. I am certified as a Psychoanalyst and licensed as a LCSW Psychotherapist.”
